Calibration of large radius jets with substructure is probably wrong
The Calibration of large radius jets with substructure is probably wrong jets is probably wrong
- The orientation of the substruct matters, and is not corrected for/calibrated
Example: Take 2 ak4 jets that are also reconstructed as an ak8 jet
- We know, looking at the object as 2x ak4 jets, the corrections and uncertianties are 4D (pt1, eta1, pt2, eta2)
- When we look at it with ak8 we only do eta, mass, and pt. ignoring angle of the substructure This basically etas and a component of the pt of the
- Way to check show the change in the di-ak4 jet mass pt correction / SF as you rotate the ak4 jets around each other.
