Modules Summary May 2026

CMU has finished a run of 100 CuW modules. The mechanical and electrical performance of these looks good. The problems with IV curves with the CuW made in pre-series are gone. The focus of the effort is now on getting the MMTS set up. This work is close. The current blocker is getting the dew point in the chamber low enough. We have purchased the same equipment that UCSB is using and expect it to be operational before the end of the month.

UCSB has focused on Ti: HD fulls, LD rights. The mechanical and electrical properties of these modules look good. UCSB has finished getting the MMTS installed and commissioned for thermal cycling and cold IV testing. So far, 234 modules have been thermally cycled, with only one failure.
