Genius-One-Idea-plus-dogged-persuit

What we perceive as genius is often the result of one good insight whose consequences are persuaded doggedly. An example is Einstein and special relativity. All of the genius-level conclusions (E=mc² / etc) follow from the one idea – that the speed of light should be the same to all observers – followed to its logical conclusions.
