Consciousness seems supernatural

Matter (the brain) giving rise to subjectivity (the mind) seems supernatural. Even if subjectivity is just along for the ride – meaning it doesn't influence the matter it arises from – its hard to conceive how subjectivity can be anything but primitive element of reality.

The mystery of subjectivity is independent of the question of free will.
