I thought it was one of shakespeares best.
Interesting how one malevolant character can cause so much chaos. Part of it was Iago tapping into the "Potential Energy" pent up in situatino of an outsider marrying a beutiful woman against the norms of society and the will of her father. And again people too busying thinking about thier indivudual place in the social system to see whats actually happeing.
Emilia is "below" the social system and so can see the situation clearly.
