Abstract: Electroweak symmetry breaking (EWSB) lies at the heart of the Standard Model, connecting the Higgs sector to the generation of electroweak gauge-boson masses. Future high-energy muon colliders offer a unique opportunity to probe this structure through vector-boson scattering at multi-TeV energies. We study vector boson scattering processes like WW → WW scattering at a 10 TeV muon collider, focusing on the polarization composition of the final-state W bosons. In particular, the longitudinal polarization modes provide a direct window into the dynamics of EWSB, as their high-energy scattering behavior relies on delicate cancellations enforced by the Standard Model. New physics, parameterized through effective operators or additional degrees of freedom, can disrupt these cancellations and lead to enhanced sensitivity in longitudinal WW → WW scattering. By analyzing the angular distributions of W decay products, we investigate how polarization-sensitive observables can be used to identify deviations from the Standard Model and probe the underlying structure of EWSB at future muon colliders.
